Doris Salcedo
One artist that mixed objects with organic fauna is Doris Salcedo. The specific piece that i find really inspiring is plegaria muda, its a series of upturned wooden tables with blades of grass growing through the gaps. It was produced on a vast scale, so that the public were able to engage with the piece weaving in and out of the tables.
The plants growing represent life and resurrection a quote from Salcedo states, ' I hope that, in spite of everything, even in
difficult conditions, life may win.'

Tables set out so that you have to weave in and out of them and be interactive.
