I Visited the Cube Gallery today to have a look at the space
and the current Exhibition. I was thinking after Monday and what Kate said
about possible places in Manchester we could have our Exhibition held, that the
cube would be ideal. Once we have our theme and exhibition ideas clearer in our
head I thought we could all go in as a group and ask about some space. If
anyone has any other suggestions for possible places in Manchester comment on
this post and we could inquire into them as well.
I think on Monday we should all decide on a few spaces/ places we could possibly visit to see if they would suit our exhibition. To try and give us a idea of what were working to. Either if it's a place away from the uni such as Cube or just in Hotspur or other university building. If we could use The Cube gallery that would be amazing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, i think its a good idea to maybe make a list after the meeting tomorrow and if we have tutorials on tuesday we can discuss the possible places then. I dont really know Manchester at all, I think the cube does look really good though, or like Jess has suggested maybe there's a place in the university building?
ReplyDeleteI was looking at the Cube gallery website and there is hire forms, plus also there is exhibitions already there for the time we will be exhibiting. So if we are defiantly thinking about getting that space we should speak to kate soon, just to see how we go about hiring the gallery, or just go into the gallery together sometime next week.
