Development

Its been ages since i've posted on here!! I have been a busy bee sketching researching and traveling the country.  First starting with my sketchbook progress and ideas that have changed and developed from the last time. while i was looking into buried Manchester and growth of the city, i found it very hard to find inspiration from the history of manchester. so decided to look to the future and research more into the growth, connections and transmitting within the city. 


I have been looking more in detail at the growing city and high populations that are always transmitting and connecting either through brain connections, bacteria and diseases spreading and connecting from person to person. I have really got into this in my sketchbook, and started to tried to grow my own materials from connecting plant matter that may be a form of making fabrics way into the future as materials are ever decreasing.


I have found loads of research from artists and scientists exploring how growing cities, bacteria and pollution will change the way we make fabrics and how materials will be eventually naturally grown. I will post some examples soon....
