Sonja Baumel

I have been looking into the types of materials and possible ideas for the exhibition as i want to start producing final samples soon. I  have been researching artists/ designers to try and find inspiration.

One artist that really interests me at the moment, that also works with science which is a key theme of ours is Sonja Baumel. working within art, fashion, science and design Sonja produces, art objects, film, material research and costume.

One specific piece that really interests me is called- Invisible Membrane.  It explores the ideas of identities, environments and second skin.
