Thursday... The day of maps. I went to have a little look at the maps in the library, not sure if they were the right ones, but they were quite interesting. Very strange to see how small Manchester was, and how unbuilt it was.
I just quite liked how the maps looked, the lines, the planning, little networks...It also fitted in quite nicely with the UHC workshop later that afternoon, looking at the places in the present manchester, noting down 'hidden places' and 'creative spaces' etc...
But yes, the maps are worth a look very interesting, and the information and labels around them are also quite nice
